Learn more about Brienna Watson.
Brienna received her Master’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in Social Work with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. She has provided therapeutic services in many different settings including schools, homes, daycares, offices, and in the community if the client chooses.
A perspective Brienna often takes into account during her practice is not only what is going on with a client’s mind, but what is going on in their lives and the barriers that are in place that prevent them from reaching their goals. She believes in meeting clients where they are at and collaborating with them to create treatment plans and personalized goals. She takes a strength-based approach that focuses on both a client’s strengths and skills they may want to work on.
Brienna takes a trauma-informed approach to care and will use methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, mindfulness, and more. Brienna’s therapeutic expertise mainly focuses on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety, depression, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), self-esteem, communication, behavioral health issues, relationship conflict, and LGBTQ+ concerns.
