Phoenix Behavioral Health Services, In-Home ABA Therapy Program
Phoenix Behavioral Health Services provides intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy within your child’s natural environment, including the home and community settings. Our trained clinical staff work with your child and family to develop a successful, individualized program based on specific goals identified during our assessment.
The Admission Process
The admission process begins with the completion of the pre-assessment paperwork, which is reviewed by our intake team. An intake interview, which takes place in your home, is then scheduled with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and our Intake Manager.
Based on information gathered at the interview and the results of assessments done during the intake process, an individualized plan of care is developed for your child. Once the plan is finalized and approved, a team is trained to work in a one-to-one setting with your child. Our initial priority is building a positive relationship so your child looks forward to each session!
At Phoenix, treatment teams typically consist of a BCBA, a Behavioral Treatment Therapist (BTT), and three to five technicians. This team-based approach gives your child opportunities to learn and practice skills with a variety of people, supporting skill generalization and long-term success. Sessions are two to three hours in length and, depending on the age of your child, there will be two to three sessions per day. Research shows that 30-40 hours of therapy per week yields the best long-term results. Individual recommendations for weekly hours are based on medical necessity and will be discussed with the family at the onset of ABA therapy services.
